Yacht Farewell


The yacht “Farewell” is one of approximately 120 boats to come out of the CNSO boatyard in La Rochelle, France. Built of GRP with a schooner rig she is a very safe and comfortable cruiser. The rig is laid out such that she can be sailed short-handed, as there are self-tacking booms and a roller furling. She has just returned from a cruise to Madagascar with just two on board.

Layout: 4 cabins (MES), 2 heads with showers, large aft salon and a centre cockpit with a hard spray dodger.

Plumbing: 500l water tank with a water-maker.

Engine: 90HP Perkins, Onan 6.5KW genset, 1500l diesal in 4 tanks,2x 200amp Bosch & 2x 175 amp hour gel-cell Batteries.

Safety: 6 man Euro-Vinyl life raft, life jackets, flares etc. (all within date).

Electrics: Icom SSB & Tuner, VHF, Furuno 24M Radar, Garmin 128 GPS, Weather fax, Navman depth, speed, log & wind, Inverter, CD player.

General: Electric windlass with 3 anchors-CQR, Bruce & Delta. 1 tender, 2 outboards, 3x 55W solar panels, Aries wind-vane.

Seamanlike layout with loads of space and solid build quality create a comfortable live-aboard blue-water cruiser. Just hop on and go cruising. The yacht is Registered in Britain.
