SICK OF SITTING THERE?

Sick of reading the stories and watching pictures of harbours around the world, people sitting on deck with gin-tonics and telling about the wonderful feeling of having sailed another sea, arrived at another new port?

Sick of sitting there, behind your stupid computer, living someone else's life?

Why not go cruising? Here's the deal:

CRUISING IN COMFORT

Sy Karibia is a Lagoon 420 Hybrid, a new 42ft catamaran. It is not just large, stable and comfortable. It is not just white and beautiful. It is not just equipped with the latest quiet electic motors, SSB radios, toilets and showers, water makers and so on. It comes fully with a crazy Finnish captain and his just-about-as-crazy wife! (I know, because we sat a few long nights in the Sy Karibia, enjoying the good company and a lot of good drinks. (In his drunken stupor, the captain promised me a small commission if I send some crew his way...)

Wanna join Sy Karibia for a leg? Port to port or maybe your first Atlantic crossing in comfort? (Late Nov 2008)

Contact them and tell them you got the idea from Lauri G. Captain Tero and his wife Anne will cover some of their costs and you will have a holiday from heaven.

Offer ends soon unless withdrawn earlier, for approved customers only, all rights reserved, all care taken but no responsibility, must be insured and have the ability to pull a rope sometimes. Prices vary depending on your ability to strike a good deal but generally cruising in a new 42ft catamaran costs a good deal. How's about 45-120 a day? That, by the way, is in euro.

More info about Lagoon catamarans posted by the Frogs here. Yep, it's a French thing and if you're quick, you can jump on the boat in France. (Sept 2008)

PS. I wouldn't sell a berth in Aliisa that cheap, but we can talk about a "cocktail-in-the-harbour" experience for a couple of bucks.
